The Tigerxbang SUP boards are classic cut allround boards of the 10.6 class and available in 4 different, partly very fancy designs. With dimensions of 320 x 80 x 15 cm (10’6″ x 32″ x 6″), the models are fully within the average range. However, the black and white board is also available in a slightly narrower version (320 x 77 x 15 cm).
The reasons for the popularity of this type of board are its high tipping stability and maneuverability. These properties are primarily achieved by the wide design with rounded tip (nose) and also rounded tail. Especially for beginners, this results in a balanced performance to be able to test all areas of use.
Due to the thickness of 15 cm (6″) and the stable, 2-layer construction (“double layer board”), the board achieves good values in terms of stiffness and buoyancy. This construction is rather rare to find at this low price. Also with the fin setup, the manufacturer relies on the standard design of the allrounders, the boards are equipped with 3 fins in the so-called 2+1 setup, whereby the center fin is removable via the plug-in system.

Construction
The paddle boards from Tigerxbang are clear allrounders with their completely average dimensions and the well-known contour (shape). The rounded board tip (nose) and the wide construction make the boards perfect and tip-resistant companions for every beginner.
The black and white board is also available in a slightly narrower width (77 / 30″ instead of 80 cm / 32″), although this difference is negligible in practice … honestly, I do not really understand the sense of this gradation.
The boards have a total of 3 fins (2+1), the two small side fins are fixed and the large center fin is removable via the plug system in a short time. This setup is also part of the popular standard for this type of board and provides additional improved stability and maneuverability.
The Tigerxbang paddle boarding boards have a solid chosen thickness of 15 cm or 6″. The volume of the individual air chamber is unfortunately not exactly quantified. However, due to the dimensions, this should be around 260 liters, with the narrower version accordingly a few liters less.
Together with the double-layered outer shell, the boards achieve good values in terms of stiffness and buoyancy.

Load Capacity
The maximum load of the boards is given by Tigerxbang with 150 kg (330 lbs). Unfortunately, this is once again too high a value and should refer to maintaining buoyancy.
For optimal running characteristics, I recommend a maximum user weight of 90 kg (200 ls). Logically, a few kilograms more are basically no problem, but at 150 kg (330 lbs) the board will certainly lose shape. Even much larger specimens no longer run well under this load!
Areas of Application and Driving Characteristics
Allround-Boards are called so, because you can master almost all areas of application with them. They can do everything, but are also not extremely powerful in any area. Due to their design and the 2+1 fin setup they are practically the compromise cast into shape!
For the first attempts and sense of achievement on the board, it is important that it lies tilt-resistant in the water. Models with a width around you 80 cm are ideal for this. If keeping the balance works out, you will probably do small laps with many changes of direction at first, for which the shape with rounded nose and the 2+1 fin setup is very well suited.
As classic allrounders, the strength of Tigerxbang paddle boards lies in their versatility. Calmer waters are the optimal territory and also smaller waves you can easily master with them. However, they are not long-distance runners, the contour is too wide and not streamlined enough for that.
These boards are particularly suitable for families and are good, uncomplicated companions for vacations and a trip to the swimming lake. The models are stiff, resilient and can take a lot of punishment. They are also well suited for older children and teenagers.
Material and Weight
The Tigerxbang paddle boarding boards are made in the popular “double-layer dropstitch” construction method. This means that the outer shell is made of 2-layer PVC (“Double-Layer”) and the core is made of very many interwoven polyester threads (“Dropstitch”). The side surfaces (rails) are also made of 2 stable layers of PVC (2 x 0.9 mm).
This production technique is very popular and proven, but not very common in the low price range. This speaks for the good price/performance ratio of the Tigerxbang paddle boarding boards.
The weight of the boards is 11.5 kg (25 lbs). This is an average value and an expression of the good quality material. The handling is good for adults to manage, but for children and teenagers rather in the border area.
Workmanship
The construction (“double layer board”) of the Tigerxbang paddle boarding is really good considering the price range. The materials used are clearly stated (2 x 0.9 mm PVC with 1000 denier), which is always a good sign. You certainly can’t expect perfection in this price range, but the quality of the boards is definitely right!
When it comes to accessories, however, it becomes clear that the boards are intended for beginners. The equipment is qualitatively consistently at beginner level but functional and sufficient for the beginning.
The reviews on Amazon are overall very good, sporadically reported by initial, strong plastic smell. This certainly happens again and again, but can be eliminated by airing out in the fresh air. The Tigerxbang paddle boarding boards are among the best sellers on Amazon, which is always an indication of satisfactory quality.
Design
The look is most definitely a point in favor of the Tigerxbang SUPs, as they come in 4 different designs. For fans of the simple design, the black and white model is the best choice. Those who like it unusual should take a closer look at the other boards.
The blue model is designed in different shades of blue, green and yellow, which flow smoothly into each other. The deckpad is designed in matching colors and blends in perfectly with the look.
If you like floral patterns, then the green board with leaf design and flamingo on the tread might be your favorite. The base of this model is a solid turquoise color.
An absolute eye-catcher is the multi-colored board with black and yellow deckpad. This version is characterized by a brightly colored and playful design in Hawaiian “tiki style”.

- Deckpad: The standing surface is made of 5 mm thick, anti-slip EVA and ensures a safe stand even when wet due to the diamond structure.
- 2 or 6 free D-rings: Each model has 2 free D-rings, one on the tail for hooking the coiled leash (spiral safety line) and one on the bottom of the nose (tow ring). The black and white model has 4 more D-rings on the side of the stand, these are used to attach the included kayak seat.
- 1-2 Carrying Loops: Directly on the center of gravity of the board is the neoprene covered central carrying loop on all models. Here is also the so-called “sweet spot” and shows you the most stable standing position. The black and white board has another strap on the nose.
- 2+1 Fin Setup With Removable Center Fin: The 2 smaller side fins are firmly glued and the large center fin is removable (plug-in system).
- Large Luggage Net: In the front area of the top is the elastic deck net, which is attached to 6 D-rings. For allrounder boards the luggage net is extraordinarily large. Here you can safely stow some equipment or provisions. To keep everything dry, it is best to pack your belongings in a waterproof dry bag!

The Tigerxbang paddle boards are generally delivered with a complete accessory package, but the kayak seat is only included in the black and white model:
- Tigerxban Backpack: The black backpack is a simple one, partially printed with the manufacturer’s logo. It features adjustable and lightly padded carrying straps. In the large compartment with a circumferential zipper you can store the board including accessories. Qualitatively, the model is located in the entry-level range but overall functional.
- Tigerxbang Paddle: The shaft of this 3-piece model is made of aluminum and the paddle blade and handle are made of sturdy plastic. The paddle is infinitely adjustable to your body size. This is also a beginner model.
- Switchable Tigerxbang Double Action Air Pump With Pressure Gauge (Manometer): The included pump is a so-called double action air pump and equipped with a manometer (pressure gauge), which displays the achieved pressure from 4 PSI. At the beginning of the pumping process, you can set it to pump air into the board both when pulling up and pushing down.
This double-action mode fills most of the volume in a short time. However, as the back pressure increases, pulling up becomes more and more difficult. You can then switch the pump to single action mode so that it only works when pushing down.
This mode saves you a lot of power! You can also pump air out of the board by screwing the hose onto the other opening on the handle section.
- Detachable Tigerxbang Center Fin: The dolphin-shaped center fin slides quickly into the rail and is secured with an included clip. This system is called a plug-in or slide-in system. It has clear advantages over the US box system (with screw and threaded plate) in terms of speed. However, there are fewer models available for retrofitting.
- 2 X Tigerxbang Inflatable Paddle Boarding Fin Protectors: The two inflatable protectors for the side fins look like small water wings and are simply put over the side fins. The board and the fins are thus protected when rolling up and during transport. A helpful accessory that you know more from expensive boards!
- Tigerxbang Coiled-Leash: This spiral-shaped safety leash connects your ankle to the board via a sturdy Velcro sleeve. If you fall in the water, it stretches to its full length and keeps your board close to you.
- Tigerxbang SUP Repair Kit: this small kit consists of color-matched PVC patches and a valve wrench. Unfortunately, it incomprehensibly lacks glue so you can repair minor damage to the board yourself. With the key you can check the valve for tightness and replace it completely in case of a defect.

Overall, the Tigerxbang belongs to the inexpensive 320 cm allrounder boards, of which there are now countless examples on the market. Nevertheless, it could convince in our test, because it stands out positively from the majority of models within the price range in some points. Among other things, the solid double-layer construction is worth mentioning, which helps it achieve a good stiffness.
In addition, the extensive accessory package also makes a qualitatively quite acceptable impression, only the backpack is very simply designed and offers potential for improvement. However, if you want to use the Tigerxbang 320 regularly as a SUP kayak as well, then you should purchase a decent double paddle.
Of course, you can’t expect top quality overall in this price range, the price is simply too low for that. Nevertheless, the Tigerxbang 320 offers a very good price-performance ratio and is a good option for paddlers who are looking for an inexpensive entry into the paddle boarding sport.
